Some of the biggest and most successful artists join Nova and Smoothfm to thank essential workers
Nova and smoothfm are working with artists and our music label partners to deliver an exclusive live streamed music event to recognise and say thank you to Australia’s front-line workers on Saturday 20 June.
NOVA Entertainment is providing an opportunity for listeners to nominate and share the story of someone they know who has been working at the forefront of COVID-19 to experience Nova and smoothfm’s Thank You Concert.
Hosted by Smallzy and Richard Wilkins, some of the biggest and most successful Australian and international artists, will donate their time to entertain and connect with guests attending this unique event.
The full artist line-up will feature live performances from Amy Shark, Anne-Marie, Daryl Braithwaite, David Campbell, Delta Goodrem, Ellie Goulding, James Blunt, JP Saxe and Julia Michaels, Keith Urban, Morgan Evans, Niall Horan, One Republic and Sam Fischer. This specially curated show will also include exclusive interviews with Ava Max, Katy Perry, Yusuf/Cat Stevens, Sam Smith and Robbie Williams and something special from Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Michael Bublé and Shawn Mendes.
Paul Jackson, NOVA Entertainment’s Chief Programming & Marketing Officer said, “We have been overwhelmed by our listener’s response to this specially curated music experience supporting and recognising essential workers. There has never been a more crucial time to celebrate the vital role countless people are quietly playing in keeping the community safe and the economy running during this global health crisis. Artists have always been so generous during times of need and we are so grateful that they are giving their time to this special initiative.”
Nova and smoothfm, in conjunction with Star 104.5, are giving listeners the opportunity to nominate someone they know who has been an essential worker during COVID-19, to attend this invitation only event. Head to novafm.com.au, smooth.com.au or star1045.com.au for all the details.
