NOVA BACKS LOCAL ARTISTS & MUSIC WITH THE LAUNCH OF AN ALL-AUSTRALIAN MUSIC SHOW
The Nova Network announced the launch of a new music show to provide a platform to support and promote Australian artists and tracks. The Maddy Rowe Aus Music Show launches on Sunday 19 March from 6pm.
The new show will feature a range of listeners’ favourite Australian tracks as well as explore and showcase new local music and artists. Each week host Maddy Rowe, a talented musician in her own right, will also chat with an Australian artist to showcase their music and career.

This year alone Nova’s Red Room has provided music fans with up close and personal experiences with some incredible Australian artists, one of the most exciting up and coming artists Budjerah and respected singer-songwriter Dean Lewis. We are extremely proud to have our own Maddy Rowe, a talented announcer and artist, host this new show that showcases Australian artists and allows fans to discover emerging artists and new tracks.”
Brisbane Nova announcer Maddy Rowe has found success as GENES and is one of Australia’s most exciting emerging pop stars and songwriters. She has achieved over 50 million global songwriting streams and major Spotify editorial playlisting success for her own music, with inclusions in Fresh Finds Pop Global, Fresh Finds AU playlists, to name just a few. In 2022 she performed at Suncorp Stadium to 15,000 people, supported Client Liaison, Sheppard, and then Vance Joy at Nova’s Red Room. GENES’ latest single ‘Cold Summer’ is out now.

The Maddy Rowe Aus Music Show launches this Sunday from 6pm and kicks off with an interview with artist KYE. A dynamic performer, KYE has toured with Sampa The Great, Genesis Owusu, Ruel and Meg Mac, supported TLC on their headline show in Melbourne and performed as part of the Olivia Newton-John tribute at the 2022 ARIA Awards. She was Spotify’s EQUAL Ambassador for AUNZ in December 2022.
