Kate, Tim & Marty win 2 ACRAs at 2019 Australian Commercial Radio Awards

NOVA Entertainment won 13 awards at the 31st Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs), including Best Networked Program, Best Music Presenter, Best Program Director and Best Syndicated Australian Program at the Royal International Convention Centre in Brisbane this evening.

Nova’s Kate, Tim & Marty drive show, who have been number one nationally for 22 surveys in a row, took out two ACRAs winning Best Networked Program and Best Syndicated Australian Program. Fitzy & Wippa's Backyard Cricket Match at the PM's House won Best Station Promotion.

Kent ‘Smallzy” Small, who hosts On Air with Smallzy in mornings and Smallzy’s Surgery, the number one Australian night show for 49 consecutive surveys, was awarded Best Music Presenter. smoothfm’s Georgie Page won Best Program Director and Star 104.5’s Erin Ramsay was recognised as Best Newcomer On-Air.

On the news front, Nova 106.9’s Ange Anderson won Best News Presenter for Metro FM, FIVEaa’s Mel Usher took out Best News Presenter Metro AM and Matthew Pantelis was awarded the Brian White Award for Radio Journalism.

From a commercial and multimedia perspective, NOVA Entertainment won Best Multimedia Execution – Sales for Afterpay Presents Nova's Red Room with Gang of Youths, Best Original Podcast Branded for Focus On Ability and Best Station Produced Commercial Single for Walk a Mile in My Boots; Nova 91.9 and Best Station Produced Commercial – Campaign for Speeding Ads; Nova 93.7.
