Matthew Pantelis hosts Mornings on FIVEAA from 9am to 12pm.

A mainstay of the FIVEAA family for over 25 years, news and current affairs are in Matthew’s DNA. Matthew kicked off his media career at 12 years of age as a “newsboy”, selling the News on North Terrace.

His radio journey began in 1988 at Coast FM followed by a stint at 5RPH and in February 1996 he joined FIVEaa. Matthew won the prestigious Australian Commercial Radio’s Brian White Memorial Award for News Reporting in 2019 and celebrated 15 years as FIVEAA’s News Director.

For the past two years Matthew has been host of Adelaide’s #1 Evening show and in 2023 became host of Mornings on FIVEAA.

Matthew is a father of two with his wife Nancy, completed majors in Journalism, Politics & Philosophy and is the very proud driver of the double decker bus in the Adelaide Christmas Pageant.
